It is that time of year again. Time to get the tent out of storage, pack up your camping gear and glow sticks… It’s festival season, people! Festivals, festies, or fests… No matter what you call these gatherings of love and party filled folks from everywhere, the first festival on my summer schedule this year opens the gates in a week. Am I ready? Absolutely.
Here is what I have planned this Summer..
- Summer Camp Festival : May 21-24 (Chillicothe, IL)
- Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival : June 11-14 (Manchester, TN)
- Project Earth : June 26-27 (Geneva, MN) 100% of proceeds go to charity.
- Rothbury Festival : July 2-5 (Rothbury, MI)
- 10,000 Lakes Music Festival : July 22-25 (Detroit Lakes, MN)
- Harvest Fest : September 12-14 (Geneva, MN)
I am outrageously excited about Summer 2009. If you are going to be at any of these festivals this year, email me! If you are not planning on going to any music festivals this year, you should give it a second thought and email me, too!

Just found this site and I think the imaging you use is very effective. Cool music festival! Is there anything like this going on in SoCal hat I should know about?

You neglected to mention the most incredible event of the season… BURNING MAN!
You should go. It will, without a doubt, change your life. It is a photographer’s / musicians’ Mecca. This will be my fifth year at the BURN. If you have any interest in attending, please do get in touch with me, pal. I work for their media department so I’m easy to track down. Consider me your personal tour guide! Check out my photos on Facebook under the album “Adventure” to see last year’s BURN. Of course, you can also go to http://www.burningman.com to see more photos and read about it.
Think about it… You won’t be disappointed.
Your site looks fantastic, Drew! Keep it up, my friend! I hope you’re well.
Onward…
John
