Lia and I flew into Baltimore in the morning of the 4th of July.  We decided a trip to a historic American city would be perfect..considering the Star Spangled Banner was written in Baltimore while the bombs were bursting in air.  With only 3 hours of sleep and still kind of drunk from a tiny adventure in Columbus, OH, the 4th of July Baltimore Adventure began..officially starting at a bar in Fell’s Point called The Cat’s Eye Pub.

So a few beers later…We left the pub and realized that we needed to take a 5 minute break across the street.  This is what others on the street witnessed…

Hunger followed, so we went to John Stevens for Calamari.  Which was a huge disappointment because the calamari was like eating fried chewing gum!  I thought that a coastal city could do better than that crap…

But of course we’re not really here for the food (except Day 2 crabs).  So far the boozes have been very good to us, and will continue to welcome us to Baltimore bar after bar.

Baltimore for the 4th of July was a freakin’ great idea!
