Here’s another living thing from my front yard.  This branch is about 9 inches from the handle of my car.

I wasn’t really paying attention when I reached to grasp the handle…This thing startled me.  Startled me enough to let out a little “yelp!” then laughed at myself for being scared by a HUGE preying mantis.

In my defense: It was HUGE!
